What Do I Need to be able to program in C++ in OSX

This is my first year in Computer Science and we always use bloodshed in class to program. I’d like to be able to program in C++ on my mac. How can I do this…what programs…and how do I set up the programs so that they will work.

I’m using Mac OS X 10.5.2
