With the growing use of internet and computers, the procedure of learning and teaching is also changing. Students spend most of time on computers and internet. They prefer searching on internet to ask teachers or professors, which is fast, easy and cheap. Online Student Management System, being web based and easily accessible from anywhere, seems to have good scope with the features as discussed below.

- Each module has a unique username and password. As a result of this, the system is fully secured.

Modules Overview:
The project has been designed as three-modules web application. Admin, Students and Technician are the major modules of Online Student Management System Project. Admin has full control over the system. They can update, delete and modify the existing course. In order to log-in to application, admin should have unique username and password.
Students are the users of this application. The shared ideas, information and tricks are gained by the students. Each user or student should register with a unique username and password to the application, which enables them to enter this web application. A number of courses are available in the application which can be chosen as per requirement of student.
The teaching team of this system has been categorized under technician module. In order to join the application as technician, a qualified candidate with specified subject should be registered with contact details.
